AID’s catalogue contains derivatives such as hydrazides and semicarbazides, hydrazine substitutes, and a variety of reactive intermediates, such as phthalhydrazide, aminothiophenol, phthalazine, carbazates, as well as heterocyclic compounds including triazoles, tetrazoles, and urea derivatives. The industries served include agrochemical, pharmaceutical, photographic, electronics, water treatment, and plastics.

A CUSTOM MANUFACTURING OFFERING

AID Corp. also offers custom manufacturing. Its success in this type of activity is generally the result of special business relationships or due to a required chemical expertise and special manufacturing capabilities. Based on large multipurpose reactor capacities, AID is able to handle projects requiring 1 to 250 ton production campaigns. AID works with research labs staffed by experienced Ph.D. chemists and technicians who can develop scalable processes. Major expertise encompasses hydrazine chemistry, azole chemistry, diazotization, the use of sodium azide, and the handling of carbon disulfide. Pilot plants are used to make small quantities of new products for process evaluation. AID partners with state-of-the-art analytical facilities and fully equipped plastic applications lab for quality testing of polymer additives. The analytical laboratories have Quality Control/Quality Assurance responsibility including measurer of performance, identifier of problems, and facilitator of quality improvement. Starting on a new project is always risky but AID’s partners have Research and Development, Process Development, and Quality Control Teams, which work hand in hand to assurethe most cost effective finished product.
